Join MELT Instructor Caryn Boyd Diel for an introduction to the MELT method of self care. Learn how the connective tissue in your hands, feet and spine get dehydrated, the common aches and pains it can cause and how to rehydrate this essential system in our bodies for vibrant health and pain-free movement. You will experience a complete Foot, Hand, or Spine Treatment in this class that you will be able to repeat at home. The MELT Method is an innovative self-treatment program that’s being taught in some of the most prestigious health and fitness centers world wide. Class topic rotates each week for 3 weeks. Bring a yoga mat and a bottle of water. Caryn will have MELT hand and foot kits available at class. $15 at the door $30 for all three classes. Call or email for dates of specific classes.

Contemporary Modern Dance with Bellingham Repertory Dance

Open to all dancers on a drop-in or class card basis, this int/advanced dance focuses on body awareness, sensation, athleticism, and artistry. Taught by rotating Bellingham Repertory Dance (BRD) members and occasional guest teachers, we invite any and all adult/teen dancers to come move with us in a completely welcoming and mixed-level atmosphere. These classes assume some background in modern, ballet, contemporary, or jazz; however, all are welcome. A structured, accessible warm-up will be followed by skill-building and phrase work.

Join Linda and learn T’ai Chi Ch’uan (Yang style) to sustain and maintain your health, balance, and wellbeing throughout the course of your life. Beginners and all levels of experience welcomed. Having studied with Master Tung Kai Ying, Master Tung Chen Wei and Clifton Gore, Linda guides you through each posture of this flowing choreographed style so that you have the confidence to perform T’ai Chi on your own to gain the health benefits of this ancient Chinese martial art form.
