Improv is much more than making people laugh – it is a way to enhance creativity, teamwork, communication, and collaboration. Join us and become more comfortable thinking on your feet through play! Develop life skills while enjoying fun and laughter in a positive atmosphere. Explore the world of storytelling, practice being in the moment, and build authentic connections.

Sheila Goldsmith is the founder and director of Improv Playworks. She co-founded the Upfront Theatre and is a veteran of S.F.'s Bay Area TheatreSports. Known for her years of experience as a facilitator, trainer, and business leader, she has been teaching for over 25 years. Her work is inspired and rooted in the teachings of Keith Johnstone, author of Impro.
