Fingerstyle Guiter Class with Bo Bestvina

Classes Start Monday August 12th

When: Monday’s 6:00pm-7:00pm

Tuition: $100/month (for 4 classes) or $30 per drop-in class

This class is intended for people with some guitar experience, from those who know a just few chords to those who would consider themselves intermediate players. We are going to learn the foundations of fingerstyle guitar, including popular fingerstyle patterns, some popular songs, open tunings, Travis Picking, and so on. This class will give you the tools to play beautiful fingerstyle pieces or to write some of your own.

Students need to have their own guitars.

About the Instructor:

Bo Bestvina has been playing guitar for twenty-five years. He also teaches guitar, ukulele, and piano at Flow Music Lessons in South Hill. He has over eight years of teaching experience, and a Washington State Music Teaching Credential. His preferred style of guitar is fingerstyle, and he is inspired by artists such as James Taylor, Paul Simon, Don Ross, Doc Watson and Andy McKee.
